Also a would-be keen surfer - but that's a family thing!!!! (Yes I remember watching you and Dad running into the surf in Cornwall, Rob. Strangely, for the same family as the Gothic Skull! The birthday boy in question is studying something to do with Forensic Science at Uni. The Bride &amp; Groom cake, to my knowledge, was never cut as they loved it so much (!) and the Black &amp; White cake was a gift for my sister's wedding. The Mexican blue flower is a flower traditionally used at funerals in Mexico - however I didn't have the heart to tell the bride!&lt;br&gt;To make a wedding cake is so stressful; the pressure to provide something unique and exactly to the bride's requirements is immense. She is Gothic and obsessed with skulls etc. In an attempt to make it a touch more 'girly', I made a black rose from sugar and scattered sugar roses petals.
